HALL HIRE - TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. The use of the hall is for private functions only.

2. The applicant must accurately state the required use of the hall.

3. A refundable deposit of £200 (to cover damages and late cancellation) must be paid in order to confirm the booking. The full amount of the hire charge must be paid once confirmation of the booking has been granted and at least 48 hours before the hire date. 

4. The Hirer must provide proof of ID on booking the hall – driving license or passport (if a passport is provided, we require proof of home address).

5. All functions must end by 10:00pm (Mon-Thurs) and 10.30pm latest so that the hall is vacated by 11pm (Fri-Sun).

6. For security purposes, Mandhata House is equipped with CCTV. 

7. MYCA Wembley bear no responsibility for any theft or damage incurred on their premises during the hire, this includes the car park.

8. The Hirer will:

• Ensure the use of the Premises is for private functions only.

• Accept that all persons using the Premises do so entirely at their own risk and no responsibility will be accepted by MYCA Wembley for injury or any loss or damage to vehicles, equipment or any other.

• Ensure the maximum capacity of 200 people is not exceeded.

• Only use the Premises for the specified times.

• Use the kitchen area for serving food only.

• Observe all licensing regulations and obtain any necessary licenses required for the event.  

• Ensure noise levels are contained so as not to cause disturbance to neighbours.

• Ensure all rubbish and surplus items are bagged and placed in the bins provided.

9. The Hirer shall not:

• Sub-let or use the Premises for any purpose other than that stated in the Booking Form.

• Allow smoking at any time, in the Premises, or in the vicinity of the entrances.

• Allow the use of drugs on the Premises at any time.

• Allow any form of gambling to be undertaken on the Premises.

• Allow any animals, including birds onto the Premises, except for guide dogs.

• Use the Premises or allow the Premises to be used for any unlawful purpose.

• Use the kitchen facilities for cooking; warming of food is permitted. 

• Do anything which may endanger the Premises or render invalid any insurance policies in respect thereof.

10. Exceeding the end time will cause the additional time to be charged at double the standard hourly rate.

11. Late cancellation : deposit and charges fully refunded if the Notice of hall hire cancellation is 24 hours before the start of the booking otherwise the full deposit will be retained by MYCA Wembley.

12. The Caretaker will only be available for opening and closing of Mandhata House.
